Wishing On A Wishlist

It’s that time of year again and by that I mean it’s time to drive our parents/friends/other family members crazy with a flood of Christmas present “wants”. I don’t mean this in a selfish way mind you — I’m on the look out for all the people above at the moment as well. Life isn’t quite like it was before where you just wrote down what you wanted from your parents after going through a catalog from Target when you were 8.

Take sunglasses: there are item numbers, color codes, and things of the sort that can go with them. You can’t just say, “Mom, I’d really love black Ray-Bans.” You have to specify, “I love the Ray-Ban original Wayfarer classic, solid color: RB2140 902 50-22,” or else you probably won’t get what you had in mind. Call me selective, but my slight OCD and I have been making lists like that for the past five years or so. Thanks technology you rock. Blabbing aside let’s get down to business, here are some things I’m wishing for this year:

This llama adorned sweater is pretty brilliant, because well there are llamas on it.
How could you not want this?

I love Kate Spade. I love bows. I love black pumps. Boom all three in one. That is a win, win, win. (I’m a size 10 if you were wondering, hint hint, wink wink).

gift8

I love a good candle and Diptyque makes the best. I chose a lavender scent — that along with Lily of the Valley is one of my most favorite smells in this world.

gift9

This is the most beautiful necklace. C’est parfait! Why you ask? Well because it’s a statement necklace that I’d die to wear on New Year’s Eve and just about any other day.

I’m a very practical lady when it comes to outer wear and will need something for all sorts of outfits when in Paris. This coat from J.Crew is simple, which is something I look for when shopping for one. Plus the grey is just light enough to stand out when paired with black.

gift4

An iPad. That one seems pretty self-explanatory.
gift10

Although I own an actual pearl necklace, that can be too much some days and costume jewelry can be better for a more casual outfit. VoilĂ ! Just the perfect necklace.

gift5

I love women in menswear. These shoes are so completely adorable and masculine at the same time.

gift7

A case for my hypothetical iPad. I really love this one. Kate Spade always has the best accessories for tech items.

gift12

Sunglasses are always a great gift, because they last virtually forever. I probably just jinxed myself and will ruin my favorite pair of shades today, but you get what I mean.
This style is a retro dream.

gift13

And last but not least, I love a good set of thank you cards, which are always necessary during the holidays. These are of course perfect for moi since I’m so into all things French right now.

What are you wishing for this year?

Yours Truly,
Lomax
