Heels: A Love Story

It’s no secret that I like to consider myself a shoe collector (okay, hoarder). Although I must own nearly fifty pairs of flats, I actually own more heels. Which is really quite hilarious because I think it’s safe to say most people are scared of me in heels (being that I become 6’4″ and all). Half of my heel collection, or entire shoe collection for that matter, is comprised of black shoes. I justify buying each new black pair by saying, “But these have silver details, not gold,” or the ever popular, “These are the new style of heel — how can I not buy them?”

With modeling over the years I’ve been required to own many different types of heels in case a job or casting called for them, which I usually blame as the foundation for my obsession with shoes, instead of just admitting that I have a problem. As much as I would love to share my entire collection with you, I can’t fit them all into one frame, so I decided to pick out some of my favorites. What do you spend all of your money on when you go shopping? I think we’ve found what my wallet gravitates towards.

  1. You have such a beautiful shoe collection! Its always nice to see other girls as crazy about footwear as me.
Don’t ever worry about having “too many shoes” or needing a reason to justify yet another black pair (says the girl with a closet for just black pumps alone). If they make you happy, shouldn’t that be reason enough?
