To The Future

It has now been a full week since the year began, not to mention a week since I lived out a dream-like evening — a princess’ delight. I was Cinderella for an evening. I had the gown, the dashing guy, and a ball to attend. On top of that I spent it with a group of people, who I grew to know over the holiday break, and am now proud to call them my new friends. I’ve never thought too much of New Years Eve or the New Year in general but this year things were different, I really reflected on my past year and the year that was and is to come.

I usually always write an end of the year post on here, but this time around I wanted to post something looking towards the future, not just the past. If there is anything this past year has taught me, it is that good things come to those who wait and work hard. I am so looking forward to seeing what is in store for the year ahead of me. Knowing that I rang it in with the man I love and new friends I look forward to knowing more, I’d say my year is off to a pretty good start. With that said, I hope you all had a wonderful end to your year and a marvelous start to this new year!
