Although New York is definitely the place to dress up, and be for lack of a better word “fancy”, it is nice to just be casual for a day when I’m there. It certainly makes hunting down taxi cabs much more easy. Of course you can still be fashion forward while doing this — I’m certainly not recommending wearing a pair of Nikes and a t-shirt. Below I’m wearing my favorite pair of black skinny jeans with a jean fabric top. What makes this different though is the cute little collar that is attached to the top — it’s cheetah print! Adding to that the shirt has cut outs at the top of the arms, near my shoulders. It’s simple and understated, yet has little fun pops of flair in it. And what could be better than that on a casual day?
