Thin-spiration?

Hello everyone. I just recently hired a personal trainer. I have trained four times (maybe five?) with him and I am already noticing results. I measured my hips yesterday and I’ve already lost an inch and a half off of them! Ironically I have been searching for what I call “thinspiration”. As I stated earlier this week I just signed up on Tumblr and I’ve noticed that there are a ton of blogs on there dedicated to helping people lose weight. What I like about them is they are all a done by girls who write about their diet and exercise habits, but more importantly post pictures of girls in great shape. I’m a visual person when it comes to many things so I don’t want to focus on how awful the work is that I’m doing to get more toned, I try to imagine what I will look like when all is said and done. So I look to these Tumblr blogs everyday for new thinspirations and I have decided that today I am my own thinspiration!

On a side note a lot of you may be thinking I sound like a crazy person claiming that I want to lose weight, etc etc. I personally think I am healthy and look fantastic how I am now, but if I desire to go back to New York this summer I need to tone up a bit. So I don’t want any of you thinking I’m mentally insane and strive to be ridiculously thin, it’s just kind of what I have to do for my job.

One last thing, for any of you out there who are looking for your own “thinspiration” or help with diet and exercise feel free to contact me (via email, comments, etc) and I will see if I can help you out in any way!

Hope you all had a fantastic weekend.

Yours Truly,
Lomax

I think you’re already a lot of girls’ thinspiration.

Ah, what kind of excersises do you do to get rid of hip area weight?

    • Lomax says:

A lot of the hip weight seems to come off from lower back, and lower abdomen/oblique training. I just posted what I do to work out and though I’m targeting all of my body, I have already lost an inch and a half off my hips in less than two weeks!

Hi Rachel, I just posted on the blog what I do to tone my body. I described one ab workout but I have another that I think I should let you know! It’s for your obliques and will help with losing inches of your waist! Lay you back on the floor with your knees bent and legs separated. All you have to do is reach your arms from side to side trying to touch your feet until you count to forty. You will know you’re doing it right if you can feel the burn in the sides of your abdomen! Good luck :)

What food do you eat when you are looking to lose a bit of weight?
And how long does it take for you to begin seeing results?

    • Lomax says:

Hello! I just wrote a post on your question. And as far as results I started seeing mine within a week! I just take pictures of myself every week now and look at the differences on my body!

    Hi! :)
Ahh thanks so much for the tips in your new post, will def begin to do sit ups!
I tried doing the one for your obliques but I’m not sure if I’m doing it right :/

If you had time, would you mind doing a workout video? Haha sometimes it’s easier to picture it when you see it being done. It would also be interesting to see what works for you!

    Just a suggestion anw :)

    Love the blog! xx

That’s a great idea Rachel! I actually thought that maybe I should try taking pictures step by step to show how it’s done! I will keep you updated once I figure something out.
